CGA awarded RoSPA President’s Award

Community Gateway Association (CGA) has won a prestigious RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Award for the 14th consecutive year, demonstrating its commitment to Health and Safety excellence.

Health and Safety Manager, Tom Jones, commented: “At CGA we are committed to making sure that our tenants’ homes are safe and that our colleagues work in a safe environment. This award reflects how hard everyone across the organisation works to maintain the health, safety and wellbeing of tenants and staff.

Chief Executive, Rob Wakefield, added: “I know and appreciate the hard work that goes into this achievement, and to be awarded the gold standard for 14 years is really something.

Achieving this success year in year out is the result of many people working together and keeping a collective focus and commitment on Health and Safety.”

The RoSPA Awards are the UK’s largest and most impactful Health and Safety programme. With almost 2,000 entries annually from over 50 countries, impacting over seven million employees, they offer a platform to spotlight an unwavering commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in health and safety.

Julia Small, RoSPA’s Achievements Director, said: "Workplace accidents don't just pose financial risks and operational disruptions; they significantly impact the quality of life for individuals. This is why acknowledging and rewarding excellent safety performance is vital.

We congratulate CGA for winning a prestigious RoSPA Award and showing their dedication to keeping employees, tenants and partners safe from accidental harm and injury.”
