CGA's Health and Safety Lead Officer

It is a legal requirement for social housing landlords to appoint a designated lead for Health and Safety.

As health and safety is a top priority for Community Gateway, we have appointed Rob Wakefield, Chief Executive, as our designated lead for health and safety.

The functions of the Health and Safety lead include:

  • Monitoring our compliance with health and safety legal requirements,
  • Assessing any risks of failure to comply with health and safety legal requirements,
  • Notifying the Board of any material failures to comply with health and safety requirements, and
  • Providing advice to the Board on how health and safety risks and any failures should be addressed to ensure we comply with health and safety requirements.
