Whether you're already a long-standing CGA member, or you're not signed up yet and want to find out more, we've detailed everything you need to know below.
Community Gateway follows the Gateway Model, which means tenants can become Members and have full voting rights at our Annual General Meeting. Becoming a Member means you can take part in our highest level involvement opportunities, helping to lead the way we operate. Not only that, but you'll have access to great Members-only benefits (find out more about these below) and earn points to unlock rewards. The best part? It's completely free to join and get involved!
We can only get better at what we do by listening to tenants like you who live in our communities and receive our services. We'll work with you to help improve the services we offer, make our communities a better place to live and provide the best support we can.
How do I earn points, and what can I do with them?
When you sign up as a Member, you'll receive a welcome pack which includes lots of goodies, a Membership booklet and a Membership card which is linked to your email address. Make sure you keep your Membership card safe, and bring it along to events and activities, because this is how you're going to collect your points.
Points are awarded when Members get involved with us, whether that's by coming along to an event, getting involved in consultations or attending a meeting. We'll scan your Membership card at the event, or add them onto your account for you later, so you can build up points up and climb the tiers.
Basically, the more you get involved, the more points you can earn and rewards you can access.
Depending on how many points you have at the end of the year, you'll be entered into one of three prize draws, giving you the chance to win awesome prizes.
All about the Membership tiers
As a Member, you'll have the chance to be in one of three tiers - the more you get involved with us, the more likely you are to reach the highest tier and be in with a chance of accessing the best rewards.
Every single Member will be entered into our prize draws and giveaway competitions. However the higher the tier, the more often and higher value the rewards!
Explorer: 0-999 points
You’re dipping your toe into getting involved with us, finding out what’s on offer and what sort of things
you’re interested in.
Voyager: 1000-1999 points
You’re spending a bit more time working with us, coming along to events and giving us your opinion. But always at times and dates to suit you.
Trailblazer: 2000+ points
You’re a fully engaged Member, making your voice heard, joining in with everything you can and really making your opinions count.
To keep track of the Membership points you're earing, all you need to do is log into your Member's Dashboard using the email address you signed up with, and you'll be able to keep a live track of your points total. We also send out regular communications, which will include your current points total and tier, to make sure you're kept up to date and informed.
